today is 人日.. so it's my birthday!! thanks to all for u for ur bday wishes.. lol.. ok anyway.. just got back from jerome's bday celebration.. today is really his bday.. so today he can celebrate twice.. well i tink he celebrated quite a number of times, as i let him blow the candle many times.. anyway we had dinner at manhatten fish market @ plaza singapura.. den after tad we went to marina sq which is... prize stage.. arcade.. and pool.. and finally home sweet home..

anyway the project final report is finally done!! and submitted!! phew.. 17 wks of hard work finally all over.. phew.. a report filled wid tears.. and blood.. and sweat..

now all's left are 3 papers.. and on 1st March 11am.. i'm gonna be free!!!!

long time haven been to Marina Barrage..

one of the coolest places in singapore hands down..

great mood to be emo.. great place to chat..

reached home really tired..

slept till 3.45pm on sat..

realising that we're supposed to meet at 5pm!

movie itself was rather ok, but the inclusion of the "real" video tapes of the case studies made the whole movie worth watching, as u feel like aliens are going to take you away for testing, and the "real" videos of the hypnosis tests, including the one where the patient seemingly "levitates" on his bed, makes it really scary. i was rather scared to go home alone actually. tad's when i did a search online.

tad's wad most ppl do. they will google "Dr. Abigail Tyler", and see if there are any articles about her. based on Internet reports, the movie claims to be a re-enactment of original documentary footage, and claims to use never-before-seen archival footage that is integrated into the film.

however, people think that.. it's just all fiction. there are no real-life cases specified.

and.. based on the disappearances of actual humans in Nome, Alaska, it could be because many drunken people disappear near the coastal area of Alaska.

well.. the movie states very clearly that

"it's up to you to decide what you believe"

and.. i do believe in the Extraterrestrial. =]

after tad.. we searched around for somewhr selling cheap stuff.. so we went to Platinum Fashion Mall, about 20 mins walk away from the hotel.. it is around 6 storeys high.. with many many shops selling cheap cheap stuff luh..

walked the whole afternoon.. den went back hotel to freshen up.. before taking a Tuk-Tuk to Siam Paragon.. ride.. was.. scary luh!!

let's c.. ok.. we plan to go to Chatuchak early.. so we grabbed a bite at Macdonalds, den we took the local "MRT" to Mo Chit station.. it was HOTTT.. and the market was big as well.. so we just randomly walked here and there.. we actually bought quite alot of things.. and like one of my fav things to do.. is to BARGAIN!!!

we returned to the hotel with many many bags of stuff.. so we took a rest.. and den walked to Siam Paragon.. which is just about 15 mins walk from our hotel.. we had lunch/dinner (i forgot the time we ate) there.. and then walked around..

returned to the hotel to freshen up.. and asked the Concierge to recommend any nice night bazaars to go.. he recommended the Suan Lum Night Bazaar.. we cabbed there.. and saw many tour buses there.. meaning that it's a must-go place for tourists in Bangkok..

after a two hour flight, have finally reached Bangkok.. when we reached, we were welcomed by the hotel representative.. the hotel sent a executive van to fetch us to the hotel.. so nice of my cousin to do so..

after settling everything, we went to have lunch.. lunch was pretty bad.. as we are unable to communicate with the ppl there.. luckily some Thais know Teochew.. lol.. easier method of communication.. however, lunch sucks btw..

anyway, after lunch, we went around the city trying to get familiarized with the place.. we went to the 4-faced Brahma statue to "bai-bai".. den after tad we actually were able to spend one whole afternoon.. around 2-3 hours.. at the first storey of the shopping mall.. can u imagine that..?! after that.. the supermarket at the second storey was just simply amazing.. it was such a HUGE place.. with many different kinds of merchandise being sold.. i bought bottle of Heineken for like less than S$2.. and also something i nv saw b4.. Johnny Walker Soda Mix!! omg!! so nice!! and damn cheap also.. one bottle less than S$2..

we had a LONG day.. after returning back to the hotel to freshen up.. we went out to dinner with my cousin.. we had some authentic Thai cuisine.. and it was deee-licious!! very authetic.. just a wee bit spicy.. afterwards was one of the best attractions in Bangkok.. late night shopping!! stalls selling different kinds of items.. and food.. i bought some really cool items at a really cool price as well..

after tad was an impromptu drinking session @ liquidkitchen.. i thought i'm gonna drink like one glass or wad.. but in the end we ordered a chivas.. and.. brrrr... nice.. i'm not drunk.. just abit giddy.. haha.. and btw.. we met some xchange students studying in nyp as well.. and they're really open.. u noe.. i like their style.. :D late supper at prata house.. i'm hungry!!

meant to meet at 8pm at yck.. but den i was super dl with how coincidental everything is.. i left home and reached the bus stop only to find the bus just leaving.. and how nice.. the next one is 25 mins away.. cool.. so i took an alternate one.. den reached circle line.. the train just arrived and left.. made me wait for 6 mins.. den reached bishan.. the train just arrived and left.. made me wait for another 5 mins.. and better still.. the train was f***ing packed wif ppl.. sriously hate it.. super dl..

we travelled to Singapore Flying Club at the Seletar Airbase.. wif the Sunset Bar & Grill located there.. nice atmosphere.. just tad the food will take 1 hr to arrive.. hmm.. nvm.. we chatted while we waited.. the wings were spicy.. the fries were great.. and the fish&chips were delicious!

well.. we den travelled all e way to OCC to c if the toilets are nice.. lol.. anyway no ideas for the nite.. and finally we decided to make us more awake by watching Sam Raimi's latest horror film - Drag Me to Hell.. the show was yet horrifying wif the terrific sound effects, combined wif some gross, yet comedic moments.. all i can say is.. i would definitely watch it one more time!! afterwards we split.. and sean sent me bak.. (:

i actually woke up at 4pm today!! hmm.. no plans as usual so randomly we thought of going to vivo.. i was again late.. oops.. but not the latest.. hmm.. had dinner at the Seah Im Food Centre.. haha.. followed by walking around and slacking.. afterwards after sending wj back.. we went to prata house for some supper.. jy and her fren came to join us.. and after sitting there for abt an hour tinking of whr to go.. in the end we went to mustafa.. it was very relaxing being able to shop peacefully without having to squeeze around.. i began to enjoy midnight shopping.. afterwards, we were all tired, and thx to sean for sending me bak.. (:

today i struggled to wake up at 12pm.. met geral, veron and huimin at eunos platform den proceeded to Tampines 1.. just walked around.. and had dinner at Manpuku.. huiping came to join afterwards.. we chilled around in the arcade and den it was home sweet home.. (:

today i suddenly missed suzhou.. out of nowhere.. initially i was still thinking hesitantly abt whether to go suzhou anot.. and now i can say i dun hav any regrets at all.. it was actually one of the best and memorable trips in my life.. i missed it.. totally..

tmr.. my laptop is finally going to come bak home to daddy!!!

randomly met for dinner on tues.. saw jojo and mel at town.. such a coincidence!! well had dinner and went walking around and around town..

small gathering on fri.. as a form of destress.. BK @ marina square.. den slacked a while.. but we had no idea on wad to do.. so in the end we went to Ben & Jerry's @ Dempsey Road to chill.. there was a live band there.. and wow.. the atmosphere was great.. after the shop closed.. we sat outside and chill for quite a long time.. toking abt everything under the sun/moon..

we (sean, eileen, mag, me) met to go town on a very crowded sat.. every branded shop was like.. ppl queuing up in order to enter.. yea.. walked and walked and walked.. den we went to clarke quay.. to find them (peiyu, kialeng, daphne, boon yang).. and walked to settler's cafe.. with 2 hrs' worth of fun and laughter.. and chicken noodle soup.. and main course.. and dessert.. the best game of all will hav to be the modified version of "heart attack".. where we hav to trade our cards.. and not pass one-by-one.. it was pretty fun btw..

so after tad.. we split ways.. they went home.. we carried on.. can't decide whr to go.. so decide to go home.. sj sent me to hotel windsor.. whr my mum was.. and actually i went there to surprise her la.. i tink she also stunned to c me there.. and also at such an early time.. den later eileen tell me they decide to go watch "blood".. but den u noe my mum la.. since i'm alr at home.. she will nv let me out agn.. that is the way to kip me from staying up late outside.. haha

waa.. super long day can! went out for supper on fri wif des and jy.. had Han's.. rice for supper.. so fattening can! anyway after tad we went to Seletar Reservoir to explore abit.. to c if got any ppl go there hanky-panky anot.. and we saw one in live action mode..!! haha.. but we c awhile only la.. ppl privacy leh..! hmm.. and i was abit nt myself.. cos i'm super tired.. waking up at 6+ every morning is tiring can! den wif these late nite activities i'm rly abit cannot tahan.. when des drive me bak.. i abit cmi liao.. i reached home around 3+.. den changed my clothes.. and fell aslp soon..~ thx des for the ride home!

anyway woke up at 2pm on sat.. online till 7.. den went to town to find wj and eileen.. we walked to heeren.. den waited for the others to come.. and we had dinner at PASTA de WARAKU.. anyway dinner was great.. afterwards we celebrated eileen's bday.. with a very nice cake.. her present is a scrapbook wif our photos wif her.. wif our bday comments and wishes for her..

we den travelled to Keppel Bay.. daniel and kevin waiting for us there.. we went there to chill awhile.. slack and chat abit.. den cos sun sj got work.. so he drove wj and daniel home first.. so the rest of us.. the 7 of us.. had to squeeze in sean's car.. went to changi broadwalk there walk walk.. den we went to ehub to hav some bowling session.. met wif des there.. bowling was fun.. played till 4.30am.. den we wanted to hav some "breakfast" at punggol nasi lemak.. but closed liao.. so in the end.. we went home instead.. we actually saw some marathon going on around the pasir ris area.. from 2+ till like 5+.. they still running sia.. hmm.. reached home at 5.30am.. so tired!! thx des for the ride home!

first day of ipp!!

first day of ipp!! anyway when we reached NCS @ amk.. we were given some bad news.. we were transferred to the old SCS branch @ bedok.. omg..!

so we cabbed down to bedok.. and we were brought into the office.. due to security reasons.. we aren't allowed to cr8 our staff passes.. so we hav to use visitor passes for 3 mths..

we were given temporary seats.. and meanwhile we were to view the ACRA website to know more abt ACRA.. but my desktop was alr virus-filled.. so.. i practically did nth today.. except day-dreaming.. and mass sms-ing..

lunch time!! went out to the hawker centre oppo TJC.. crowded.. but still alot of seats available.. had a sweaty lunch.. den went bak around 2pm.. hmm.. met my OIC's assistant.. which is.. she is above everyone.. only below my OIC.. anyway she is quite friendly.. briefly went thru our unknown questions..

after tad we began OTOT again.. all we hav to do is to listen to wad our seniors are toking.. and try to absorb how they tok to the customers and how they respond.. after few long draggy hours of dozing off.. and drawing crap on my book.. and finally 6pm comes..

abit demoralized..tis is the first day.. and there's nth to do.. so i'm bored to death.. but i believe from tmr onwards it will hopefully be a more interesting and fruitful day..!! :D

SATURDAY.. day 34!!
wow.. woke up at 2pm in the afternoon.. laptop having a tantrum.. so i hav no choice but to use the desktop.. had a long meeting abt plans at nite.. supposed to meet at bugis at 6.30pm.. left home around 6pm.. boonyang reached early.. so i cabbed down to meet him instead.. we went to the steamboat place to get seats first.. since it's a Sat.. and normally it's super crowded.. well.. we got seats around 7pm.. but the others came around 7.30pm.. so we waited pretty awkwardly.. since there were alot of ppl waiting for tables.. and we were like hogging the tables..

finally they reached and we started eating.. hmm.. finished around 9pm.. waited for shujian's car to come.. and we travelled to ps.. walked to cathay.. i bought new slippers via NUM..!
went to watch Night at the Museum 2.. it was a fun show.. i had fun.. finished around 1am++ and we went to for a trip to Geylang.. and den Lavender foodcourt for drinks..

reached home around 3am++.. thx for the ride home!! :)

last wk of FYPJ!!

hello.. so we're bak in Singapore.. but the proj is nt done yet.. so we actually spent this whole wk finishing up the final masterpiece.. the powerpoint.. and the report.. and finally everything is done.. COMPLETE!! and like.. my ipp.. i got attached to NCS.. hopefully it will be a good and smooth 3 mths ahead..

anyway today is the last day of FYPJ.. definitely relief tad FYPJ is over.. but of course quite sad that we are gonna be split up into diff. companies.. and working with diff. ppl.. so we are definitely having gatherings on wkends..

SATURDAY.. day 27?!
just less than 24 hrs after we landed.. we met agn..!! first to Thomson for prata at The Prata House! after tad.. we travelled by car to Yishun Dam for some HTHT..~ den to Mount Faber since Peiyu and gang were there.. so we went to find them and meanwhile hav a little small gathering.. couldn't get used to the hot weather in SG.. and made staying at Mount Faber unbearable.. so we travelled to ECP Mac.. some of them had their "dinner/supper" while a few of us had McFlurry.. a few of them din want to sleep so they stayed while the rest of us left..

reached home around 3.30am.. thx to Shujian for the ride home!! :)

MONDAY.. day 29?!
first day of sch!! nt used to it sia.. had lunch wif the Suzhou clique.. and the place was packed wif ppl.. anyway after sch we went to AMK for some HTHT session while having dinner.. it was really cool u noe.. to noe someone better thru this kind of sessions..

NAPFA was tiring.. went home for dinner instead..

a really relaxed day.. but still we hav to finish the report.. dinner at Sakae @ Plaza Singapura..

a short day.. went to sch around 1pm.. finally finished report.. sharing session was so awkward lor.. dinner at Jalan Kayu.. had prata.. den we went to Changi Beach to look at planes.. and finally Marina Barrage.. REALLY nice and relaxing place.. made me think of the cover of 流星花园 (Taiwan ver.).. we had like 20+ ppl.. wif 5 cars today?!

returned around 3.45am.. with 8 ppl in the car.. 6 in the back.. cool huh?! thx to Ghee Hean for the ride home!! :)

one packed wk.. nt to mention afterwards.. which is Sat.. fully packed day.. can't wait..!!

BAK IN SINGAPORE!!

last 4 days in SUZHOU.. we had some relaxing kite flying moments in the field.. we played fireworks at nite.. we gave souvenirs to our buddies in China.. and we took pictures wif them too.. and also we bonded alot wif everyone..

the feelings for the last few days are pretty mixed.. i am happy.. becos i'm bak to my life.. wif my bed.. my toilet tad i like.. and also my lifestyle in SG.. and also nt having to climb 6 storeys to lab everyday.. but i'm also sad to leave Suzhou after 26 days of staying over there.. and although there are some bad pts abt staying there.. there are certainly gd pts too.. like the great weather.. the cheap stuff..

anyway the kite flying moments were great.. really great wind.. it has been a really long time since i flew a kite.. and the weather is like super gd.. fireworks were great too.. it has ALSO been a really really LONG time since i played wif fireworks.. after tad.. we took alot of pictures.. wif our China buddies.. wif the fruit stall auntie.. wif almost everybody..

anyway today is the last day.. and i'm pretty ready to return bak to the SG lifestyle.. but it's nv going to be the same agn.. i really enjoyed the trip.. made some really cool frens.. and this friendship isn't going to end any time soon.. this trip actually turned out pretty gd.. i am so glad i came onto this trip..

day 20, 21, 22/26 of Suzhou Trip!!

Saturday.. day 20..
trip to Shanghai!! first we went to 七浦路.. it's like SG's Bugis Street.. alot of small shops along streets in a big building.. bought many many things.. hmm.. let me think.. 2 boxers.. 3 inflatable seats (2 are for frens), and tops from Jack - Jones, and some taiwan brand.. and more stuff.. den we had lunch at a local stall.. i had fried rice which is pretty oily.. anyway we shopped at the same building from 10am till 4pm.. cos it's such a big building..!

den we walked to 南京路步行街.. had a rest at Macs, den we went to UNIQLO.. nice tops they hav.. bought one top at RMB$99.. which is cheaper than SG.. after tad.. JY and I bought identical but diff colour NIKE bags at RMB$288.. hers is for her bro.. i bought it for myself cos the bag i bought is spoilt.. ): anyway after tad we took the MRT to 陆家嘴.. had Burger King for dinner.. and walked around for abit.. after tad took pics at 东方明珠 tower.. at nite when the lights are on.. it's truly a magnificent sight.. after tad it's hostel sweet hostel.. i spent almost RMB$800++ on this trip..

Sunday.. day 21..
firstly.. HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!! anyway sch was usual.. den when sch was finally over at 3pm.. some of us cabbed to 观钱街 again.. this time we went to buy some local delicacies.. den dinner at 大娘水饺.. den bought the metal cola ball sweet at 优の良品.. my long lost fav!! spent another RMB$100++ on today's trip agn.. and i haven bought my Mother's Day gift yet!! anyway at nite around 10 of us had a lesson on ART.. no nid to mention much la hor.. u noe i noe.. shhhhh....

Monday.. day 22..
it's OTOT time again.. i have exactly RMB$166 dollars left.. haven buy alot of things yet.. dunno got enuff money anot.. today we went to Times Square.. we split up.. and so a few of us went to hav Subway for lunch.. on the way we even met a fellow Singaporean.. she actually came to China to study.. anyway after lunch.. we walked around.. and it was biggg.. we saw a playground and started playing around the see-saw and the swings.. den we entered the amusement park.. saw some SEG ppl there.. so we played Bumper Cars together.. den had a fun "spinning up-and-down ride".. ther's something that i will nv do in SG.. and tad is to shake the "throw-coin" machine.. and make the coins drop.. and many tickets came out.. and even we din play many games.. we had like 90 tickets?!

we saw a Coco and of course.. we went bonkers over it.. some of us had Coco.. and the others had Starbucks.. at 7pm.. the top of the building had a very long electrical screen.. and started showing visual graphical images.. nt nice.. but fanciful.. anyway met Mr Leung there too.. and we had dinner at 一茶一坐.. had a nice dinner.. and after tad we had dessert at a very nice Hong Kong-styled restaurant.. my 杨汁甘露 tasted really really great!

today's trip was really different.. since we weren't really into shopping.. but more focused on taking pictures with the scenery.. it was so much fun.. taking so many pictures!!

day 18, 19/26 of Suzhou Trip!!

hello.. i'm quick today..! cos i hav alot to type..

Thursday.. day 18..
today we finished sch at 12.. becos today we are having a sports competition wif our sister class.. we had 3 sports.. badminton.. table tennis.. and basketball (guys).. captain's ball (girls).. anyway.. it was just really fun.. and my china partner and I won mixed doubles in badminton *claps*.. but cos badminton and table tennis started at the same time.. and they wanted to save time for basketball.. so it's like.. we played one game wif 11 pts.. and 4 matches were on-going at the same time.. i din even noe i was playing in the finals alr.. cos there isn't any offical mention.. and so it's like.. nobody really saw the match.. but i din really play well.. my partner really rocked..

anyway basketball was hot..!! cheers from both sides were loud.. and the game was really competitive..! in the end.. our basketball guys won!! wif a score i forgot.. but a picture of the score was taken.. so i just hav to make a reference.. anyway next the girls went up wif captain's ball.. the opposing side nv played b4.. so the girls hav to giv them a demo.. and the girls won in the end.. wif a score of 21 - 8.. (yes i rmb! :D) after tad was the prize presentation.. i won something like a silk handkerchief.. anyway we still had the sporting spirit going on.. so we went for a 4 * 100m relay..! the weather is much warmer now.. so it's also easier to run.. but sriously it's still tough to run in boxers..! anyway dinner at a new place.. and we had a 10 course meal.. for RMB$120.. the first few dishes were too spicy.. and nt tad nice.. but the last few were great food.. and really something to rmb by..

Friday.. day 19..
today is tour day!! woke up at 7.. coach leaves at 7.30.. travelled to HangZhou.. 2.5 hours of journey..!! omg.. tad's 5 hours back-and-forth..! anyway the local tour guide was really friendly.. wif really gd social skills.. and knows the places well.. probably the nicest tour guide i have ever met.. she knows her local HangZhou dialect.. Mandarin.. Cantonese.. bit of English.. and bit of Malay.. nt bad huh! first we went to 雷锋塔.. nice place.. history mentioned it was this particular tower that imprisoned 白蛇 but i dun like tall places.. afraid to look downwards..

anyway after tad.. we at lunch at a very nice place called 山外山.. i believe the restaurants were built in order to oppose to a particular emperor.. so there are other restaurants in HangZhou named 天外天.. 楼外楼.. anyway the dishes were all veggie-dominated.. but still yummy.. nice memorable lunch.. next we went to 西湖.. we went to take a boat ride.. i tried the local "delicacy" 藕粉.. which is actually lotus root powder.. just add water and it becomes glue-like.. wif the osmanthus flower (桂花) and sugar added in.. den it will taste better.. but apparently it will improve the condition of our skin..!

after tad we walked to 岳飞庙.. which is Yue Fei's temple.. basically we just went in to understand the history of 岳飞.. including how his mother carved 精忠报国 on his bak.. and how he was framed to death.. next we went to 龙井村.. with really beautiful scenaries of mountains.. we saw how tea is plucked and fry-ed.. den had a cup of 龙井茶 while hearing to the really lame and funny speaker tell us abt 龙井茶 and its uses.. apparently it really helps in "sucking" up the oil in ur stomach.. in the end i bought one tube for my mum.. cos she likes tea that "sucks" oil.. LOL.. anyway it was a fruitful trip.. and our tour guide is great.. her name is 王湘雨 btw.. her name apparently comes from a 成语 btw.. forgot wad 成语 le.. but at the moment i wondered.. y my parents cannot think up wif much better names for me & my sis..!

our tour guide told us abt how her tour guide in Msia came up wif funny chinese words to represent Malay..

it has been a while since i blogged..

Saturday.. day 13..
today is OTOT!! and like we decided to wake up super early to go 观钱街.. to hav some breakfast at KFC!! the commercials just makes it too tempting.. anyway we hav like the whole day to shop.. i bought some socks.. and a present for Lydia.. anyway we had Pizza Hut for lunch.. after tad we went to the local KTV for some singing!! and the interior was just very very nice.. it has a very egyptian theme to it.. the rooms are super big too.. it even has a personal toilet for use! we sang for like 5 hours.. and each person costs RMB$51! super cheap can! had instant noodles for dinner.. but yet i din finish my meal.. becos something happened at nite which actually made many worried.. wun explain it since it's such a long story..

Sunday.. day 14..
usual sch day.. finished at 3.. cleaning time!! din clean much though.. went bak hostel and went for some basketball action.. after some rounds of basketball, we changed to captain's ball.. everyone had fun.. dinner at a local restaurant.. food was great.. nt too oily.. nt too salty.. cheap too..! we tried dishes like 东坡肉 and 松子鱼..

Monday.. day 15..
sch as usual.. and today is a special day.. cos it's May 4th..!! cos they had an event inviting students from China, Finland and Singapore to celebrate the event together.. we performed a song 关怀方式.. and the event was pretty great.. loads of great performances too..

Tuesday.. day 16..
sch day as usual.. nth much.. dinner at the local restaurant agn! 东坡肉 was great!

Wednesday.. day 17..
9 days left till going bak to SG.. swine flu is causing many probs.. we might even have trouble returning bak to SG.. proj is not settled.. much more to dooo...

busy to blog, as always.. anyway i pretty much forgot wad we did.. so it's just a brief quick summary.. for photos.. check out fb.. :)

Tuesday.. day 9..
hmm.. i think it's a typical normal sch day.. so sorry.. but now i rmb wad we did.. the locals here had a singing competition to commemorate the May 4th movement.. anyway some of our classmates got chosen to get up stage wif our buddy class and together they sang.. 明天会更好.. and in the end.. we got first!! congratulations!!

Wednesday.. day 10..
we had another excursion..! this time to 同里.. it's called the Water Village i tink.. really peaceful place.. wif many old relics.. many places to visit.. do u noe..? 同里 was originally named 富土.. but due to some unforseen circumstances.. they changed the name to 同里.. they moved the 田 from the 富 to the 土.. and u get 里.. and wad's left from the 富.. removing the dot at the top.. u get a 同! so smart ah! anyway excursions mean.. really fun time and many pics!! we got to sit on those trams (the zoo type of tram).. we actually travelled on the trams.. on the main roads somemore.. super shiok experience.. we den had lunch at a local restaurant.. had the local delicacies.. 状元蹄.. and two of the 太湖三白.. nt really confirm.. anyway it was a pretty gd lunch.. and each person costs around RMB$26.. which is actually quite cheap.. after lunch.. we went to the shop selling candy.. and some of us bought 龙须糖 and 麦芽糖.. i intended to bring the 龙须糖 bak to SG.. but i scared cannot last tad long.. but i still intend to try my luck.. the 龙须糖 is like way bigger than wad SG sells.. and it's super nice.. 10 pieces for RMB$10! we bought some 麦芽糖 too.. and it's just really fun playing wif the 麦芽糖 to make it whiter and softer and not so sticky.. as the boss says.. 越搅越白越搅越多吃了不粘牙..!!

ok anyway we finished at around 3.. so it's OTOT time..!! we went to 十全街 first.. cos alot of ppl say got alot of things to buy.. but actually like nt much lor.. i only bought some bks.. for SY and Geral's bday.. anyway we decided to switch lanes and walked quite a distance passing thru 凤凰街.. and took a bus to 观钱街.. the place that we are more familiar wif.. after setting down for dinner at KFC.. although the local restaurants like 得月楼 are very appealing to us.. the pricing is abit above avg.. and maybe we can save it for the last few days of our trip.. after dinner.. we split into 2 grps for shopping..!! and seriously 2 hrs of shopping is nt enuff!! cos there is so much to shop.. there will definitely be more visits to 观钱街.. i still wan to buy a wallet.. a bag.. a jacket.. and many many more.. a bag and jacket is a must!! maybe i'll shop for jackets when we go to Shanghai next wk..

and oh ya.. nt to spoil my image or wad.. but i went to buy my first condom! lol.. under the pressure of the girls of course.. imagine a (vending machine type of) machine outside the toilet.. and just wif RMB$1.. u get a condom.. nt really gd education for kids huh! anyway for RMB$1.. i suppose the condom wun last long.. BUT.. i'm not gonna use it of course! who do u tink i am! but anyway something funny happened at nite.. haha.. ok.. end of story.. privacy u noe!

Thursday.. day 11..
hmm.. plain day agn.. study study and study.. but we got to start at 10am.. cool huh..! i rather start everyday at 10..! yes.. and something bad happened during lunch.. i slipped and my ice pop fell on the ground.. and i only took one lick.. anyway i bought another one.. LOL.. we had instant noodles for dinner.. but the nite's nt as fun as Wed.. cos some ppl are too tired.. can't play much.. i went for a sing-along session wif JY and gang.. and instead of practicing for the song.. we started playing various songs and guessing the songs.. overall it's still nt bad.. and after the session.. i had a heart-2-heart tok wif some of the girls whose names will be made unknown.. LOL.. anyway the topics during the session will also be private too.. if u wanna listen.. u'll nid the password to access.. :P

Friday.. day 12..
Happy Labour Day everyone! anyway we opted for sch today.. cos everywhr will just be too crowded.. so we decided to switch a sch day for OTOT instead.. so now gonna work on proj.. i realised today is Labour Day.. and there's no sch.. i was just gonna send Mr Mah an email.. and i hope he can reply me asap.. but i guess i'll receive the reply on Mon instead.. anyway hope for the best..!!

day 7,8/26 of Suzhou Trip!!

and a wk passed just like tad.. ytd was a Sunday.. lab was until 3.. and seriously i kip forgetting it was Sunday.. i kept thinking it was a Friday.. anyway we had lab till 3.. den went bak to out dorms to cleanup.. and den dunno wtf happen la.. the toilet bowl just choked up liddat.. so scary lor.. when i flush.. den the water kept rising.. and rising.. till it overflows.. 吓死人了! anyway thx to Shujian.. the toilet bowl prob is done.. and den we were supposed to go out.. but after cleaning everybody very sian liao.. so in the end we decided to go for some exercise..

after some warm-up.. we decided to hav a fun and enjoying 4 * 100m relay!! and we were split into 3 teams.. and overall it was just so much fun.. and really.. running in a jacket is sort-of a first for me.. and i din even really break a sweat.. i can't wait for another round.. and anyway.. i seriously underestimated Melisa to be such a good runner.. i guess it's due to those legs u hav.. LOL.. i'm gonna get killed by her soon..!

anyway we went to dinner at a local restaurant.. the lady boss was really nice.. haha.. the food is on my fav list..!! really really gd food.. after tad.. we went bak to the hostel for some well-deserved rest..

and today is just dull and boring.. project's stuck.. day's boring.. we dunno wad to do.. 1pm got rehearsal for singing competition.. luckily i din tio.. initially i gonna tio one.. but in the end random pick.. so din pick me.. :) anyway.. we had 麻辣烫 for dinner.. which is "yong tau foo" in China lor.. lol.. anyway hopefully tmr will be a better day.. and tmr is the singing competition.. so we gonna go support them!! day 5,6/26 of Suzhou Trip!!

i tink i'm gonna kip things short.. cos there are just too many things to tok abt..

day 5 is touring day! we went to 拙政园, one of the most famous gardens in Suzhou, or rather, China.. it was just alot of beautiful scenery, while listening to the tour guide toking abt the history of the garden.. it was also a rainy day.. it's been raining the whole day.. after tad.. we went to the museum.. there were just alot of relic and apparently, i'm not really interested in it.. but taking a look at the items was pretty cool..

and den we went to lunch.. we had abt a 10-course meal.. and everyone left with filling stomachs (i suppose).. den we went to the historic 虎丘.. it's an slightly leaning tower that is one of the trademark MUST-GOs at Suzhou.. it's a long trip to the top.. many slopes.. and stairs.. with the slight drizzle making the ground so wet.. it's just a difficult climb.. but in the end.. the scenery was marvellous.. and the tower was really nice.. after tad.. we went to the local silk factory.. and alr seen the process of making silk at Thailand, it doesn't really fancy me.. and the products are pretty ex too.. the place was pretty boring.. and the fashion show suxs too.. anyway after tad we can finally go bak to the hostel... we went to the local westernized cafe/restaurant for dinner.. a few girls had 麻辣烫 for dinner, which is just like the local "Yong Tau Foo".. i had a set meal which is priced at RMB$12.. includes.. a burger.. some "popcorn-chicken lookalike".. den a sausage.. and pieces of meat on a stick.. and a warm bubble tea.. RMB$12!! tad's pretty cool huh!! anyway we finished quite early.. and everyone turned in early.. becos..

Sat is Shanghai day!!the coach came at 7.45am!! the journey to Shanghai lasted abt 1hr 45 mins.. so meanwhile everyone tried to hav some rest.. den.. we hav reached Shanghai!! ok.. the weather was superb.. cold wind blowing.. was cold.. but yet nt TOO cold.. Shanghai was pretty cool.. however the prices were nt.. actually the things sold there were around the same price as Singapore.. so i actually din buy much.. we had a local tour guide, who was Eileen's fren.. and we brought us around.. to the underground mall.. to an Italian restaurant wif really cheap prices.. to the 城隍庙 there.. wif many shops wif very very local goods sold there.. however we are just nt really interested.. but the food there was really interesting.. and the 冰糖葫芦 there was really cool.. becos they hav the fruits one.. i bought one mix fruits one.. wif strawberry, orange, kiwi, pineapple.. and they are showered.. wif the malt candy.. and they are nt hard at all... very soft... very sweet.. just very shuang..

we had dinner at the famous restaurant.. but cos one table had 7 ppl.. and the serving was really small.. and we actually left nt really satisfied.. we gathered at the meeting spot and took the coach bak.. and meanwhile when we reached the hostel.. we decided to fight wif the girls for a spot at the washing machine.. and Kai Xiang and me really chiong up to get our clothes and chiong all the way down to the washing machine.. the girls chiong-ed too.. but still came up short.. and the 5 of them i suppose.. had to share one washing machine.. and the boys got one washing machine.. well.. hopefully they aren't angry at us..

den we met wif Weiqi and gang to get some banditos!! or rather.. 手抓饼.. nice hot food to hav in a cold weather.. den we went our separate ways.. and finally to hav some sleep.. wow.. i really typed alot for a "kip things short" blog.. today is the 7th day of the trip.. and 1 wk has passed like dat..!! JUST LIKE TAD!! and alot of work is yet to be done! OMG!

hello hello.. ytd too busy.. no time.. so today den update altogether at once.. so ytd.. we started the same procedure we do in SG.. lab.. lunch.. lab.. anyways.. after the day is gone.. at nite we had dinner, at the place we had dinner on the first nite.. it was nt bad.. but nt very good.. bt anyways.. my huge bowl of noodles is like RMB$4.. y complain..?? and it's nt really bad la imo.. anyways.. we finished dinner like around 6 - 7++.. so den the girls came to our rm for tidbits.. den tok abit lor.. den.. wad did i do..!? actually i forgot.. cos nt many memorable things to rmb by..

anyway today is pretty diff. today we overslept.. after a quik breakfast.. den it's bak to the lab agn.. and as usual.. i nv do work lor.. cos cannot access youtube.. i super sad can..!! we had lunch.. den at around 1.30.. we went to the track & field there to take a group photo wif our China buddies.. and the buddies wif us are really really friendly.. we were actually pretty close to them alr.. den we got to slack around 3+.. so meanwhile we took many photos wif them.. and even funnier pics like jumping into mid-air.. really cool pics.. that i can only show after Eileen can upload them onto FB.. anyway we went to hav some badminton.. and it was really pretty gd exercise.. but hey.. when u hav a lab at lvl 6.. and the lift is out of service.. and u hav to climb the stairs everyday.. is alr enuff exercise le lor.. seriously.. and also today weather very shuang.. ALOT of cold wind blowing here and there..

den 5 we pack up go bak hostel.. got dressed and went for basketball.. i played at the beginners' side.. lol.. den we had a 3 v 3 match somemore.. cool.. great exercise.. we decided to hav a CUP NOODLES party... everybody had cup noodles.. but in the end the water dispenser wif hot water is nt really working well.. and like.. 10++ of us went to 4 diff. rooms in order to hav hot water.. but in the end some of our cup noodles are still undercooked.. so we decided to go to the canteen to get some supper.. den like.. the girls are crazy.. most of them wore FBT shorts and like wif the cold winds blowing.. and some even tried to run into the canteen.. i also felt the cold.. cos i only wore a tee wif berms and slippers.. cos i went to wash my jacket.. and tad's my only one.. but luckily i still can tahan anot.. hopefully wun fall sick lahs..

den the girls went to collect the laundry.. and the cold winds are super super scary.. super cold.. and they are forecasting rain tmr.. so it's gonna be freezing tmr.. somemore we going on tour tmr.. so everybody buy umbrella alr.. lol.. anyway the girls hav alot of clothes lor.. hopefully wun drop off.. pray hard..!! lol

gonna go slp now.. waking up at 7am tmr..!! tour to Suzhou Museum and 虎丘.. Shanghai on Sat!! woots!!

day 2/26 of Suzhou Trip!!

DAY 2!!!

we woke up at 6.45am in the morning.. and after a quick freshen-up, we went to the local canteen for some breakfast.. firstly the local students there dun really queue.. whoever voice can be heard by the person will hav their food first.. and after the locals hav finished.. we realised our students are all queuing.. so typical can! i had vege buns.. and it was really different.. the vege is very.. china-ish.. as in 四川菜 de feeling.. and the soy bean that some of them bought.. the taste really suxed..! i bought myself a bubble tea.. at RMB$2.50.. it's.. full of the coffee/tea mixture taste.. the drink tasted nt bad.. but the pearls sux.. and they are served warm..

so the whole morning were trips to various places.. but pardon me.. i actually forgot some of the places.. there was the Suzhou SIPIVT Industrial Place.. i tink.. nt really sure.. but we just visited the labs and c how the things work over there.. and also the collaboration between Suzhou and Singapore..

we went to a local restaurant for lunch.. which was abit of Hong Kong-ish Chinese cuisine.. we ordered 6 dishes actually.. we had 13 ppl at the table.. and total bill comes around RMB$11++.. which is S$2++ per person..!!! for a meal that includes fish.. chicken.. rice.. and meat.. lol.. den we went to our labs whr we will be working.. and it's dirty lor.. super dusty can! we listened in to a presentation by a lecturer who told us abt the history and culture of Suzhou.. den while the various ICs go for a meeting.. the rest of us are den in charge of cleaning up the lab.. we actually rotted around an hour++ in the lab.. so i spent the time toking abt history wif Wei Ting and Melisa.. toking from O' levels to PSLE results.. lol den we started discussing abt dinner..

we decided to go to a particular street named 灌钱街.. which is one of the streets with many things to buy, eat and shop.. so we waited for taxis.. and seriously.. i'm not saying the whole China.. but for Shanghai and Suzhou.. i can say the traffic control is seriously out of hand.. the drivers just to honk for nothing.. on the streets u can hear the honks just abt every second.. and practically there are nt many traffic lights.. and the zebra crossings there are like for nothing.. but really.. next time come China.. be careful of the traffic..!! REALLY..!! i'm warning everyone!! BE CAREFUL OF THE DAMN FUCKING TRAFFIC!!

anyway we got on a cab.. btw.. we split 5 cabs.. cool huh.. the cab i got on.. seriously.. the cab driver is an idiot lor.. he thought we were Koreans (ok la.. maybe nt me) at first.. but i told him we were Singaporeans.. and he is super biased against Singaporeans can! he say wad since our president is Indian, so our mother tongue shld be Tamil.. like.. ??? and like.. he just kips on blabbering.. and even our local guide in the cab cannot stand him also.. and told us to ignore him.. and he even told us his son is studying in Singapore.. shit can!! he say wad Lee Guan Yew go Suzhou to get all their money.. shit can!! he is just an idiot can!! and i cannot wait to get off his fucking car.. wad a SOB..

anyway we went to KFC.. 肯德基.. very simple and easy rite.. how abt PIZZA HUT?? 必胜客!! so cute can! anyway KFC was great.. the New Orleans Chicken Burger i ordered was simply superb..!! DELICIOUS!! den i tink after eating it was abt 7++.. den we went to shop lor.. it's like.. confusing lor.. very big.. and hav to kip a look-out for cars also.. dangerous.. and also kipping a look-out for pickpockets.. and very crowded place.. and we shopped around.. comparing prices.. bargaining.. and took many many photos.. 1 - 2 - 3 茄子!! anyway i bought some stuff for really cool prices.. they are gifts for some frens.. look forward!! and hmm.. the bubble tea at a shop called COOL! i tink.. i had a medium one for RMB$5.. and i really liked it.. the taste was just perfect.. and oh ya.. i got to interact more wif my clique of ppl.. and got to noe some of my 同胞.. MY BELOVED MALAYSIANS!! LOL.. but all three of them are mixed-blood.. i'm the only PURE-blood.. LOL

anyway tmr must start project leh.. so i'm nt really looking forward to it.. but hopefully the faster we finish.. the more we can enjoy this holiday.. cya take cares :)

and BTW.. something very impt that i saw on my tagboard.. tonite i was enlightened.. the always kind and helpful Melisa.. told me the chinese translation of COACH.. which is... 靠北.. ENJOY!

day 1/26 of Suzhou Trip!!

hello everyone!! here i am at Suzhou typing this!! this is a great place.. nice weather.. so like this morning.. checked in at around 10+.. and arrived at around 3+ at Shanghai International Airport.. SIA service was excellent.. the food served was great too.. watched Marley & Me on the plane.. hmm.. sitting at the window seat was great.. i got to c the plane's movement and also the clouds too..! lol and i was sitting just near the left wing part.. so i could c the wing and the turbine thingy clearly.. it was a first for me..

after reaching Shanghai International Airport.. just the process of checking out took us near to an hour to get it through.. after tad.. we travelled by car to Suzhou.. the others went by coach.. by cos nt enuff seats.. so Mr Leung - the cher-in-charge, Wen Jie, and me took the car of the person who came to fetch us.. the journey was one of the horrible things that happened today.. it was so hot.. cos the guy din on the aircon.. and the journey is sooo long!! 2 hrs in the car!! i spent nearly 75% of the time closing my eyes.. resting.. and also cos my irritating headache is building up.. and like.. on the first day!! wad a turn-off! so i desperately waited till we finally entered our room.. it was better than i expected.. nt too shabby.. and the weather is nt bad too.. after setting up our laptops to connect to their routers.. we went down to meet our China buddies and went to dinner together..

on the way to dinner.. they were really friendly and sweet, they told us abt the places of interest.. wad is gd and wad is bad.. basically there are just very open.. and really friendly.. after dinner.. we went to a local supermarket.. to shop up on daily necessities.. and together Wen Jie and I spent a total of RMB$136++ over there!! tad's like S$20++!! but it's ok lor.. cos we really bought alot of things!!

hmm.. we bought washing powder.. oranges.. i bought a cup.. lipton's lemon tea.. milk tea.. lay's potato chips.. oreo STRAWBERRY.. coke light lemon.. and pepsi zero.. and the reason i bought these two is becos of the shape of the bottle.. so nice.. and also.. five diff. boxes of POCKY!! including nv seen b4.. MANGO!! RED WINE CHOCO!! TIRAMISU!! STRAWBERRY VANILLA!!

ok.. tad's all for DAY 1.. tmr will be a long and busy day.. soo.. c u tmr!

somehow i feel like blogging again.. not for long actually.. but dunno y out of a sudden.. i feel like my life is so.. flat.. just the same routine everyday.. especially now wif FYPJ.. every morning.. wake up go sch.. finish sch.. go home.. slp.. den wake up again.. and i even tried to stay at home on wkends too.. so that i can replenish the slp that i needed so much.. and practically this 3 mths of FYPJ.. besides the trip to Suzhou.. i guess everyday is just plain boring..

out of a sudden.. i get emo.. like.. my stupid phone.. for 2 wks le still at hospital.. they told me they still waiting for the parts to arrive.. like.. omg.. i can't believe that i could survive 2 wks without music.. now on the bus i listen to everything that is existant on the bus.. i just can't survive without my phone..! and besides my contacts are all inside my memory card.. so currently i'm using a Motorola phone.. and that i dun hav any contacts with me now.. which is pretty pathetic too..

everyone is nt perfect.. mine.. well.. some parts are really perfect.. yet some parts.. miserable.. maybe i am just plain lazy.. i definitely nid to change my life..

i also used to tink my life is cursed.. a friendship curse.. i wonder if it's my personality or wadsoever.. i could nv hav a long lasting friendship.. it's alr proven in my secondary sch days.. how three really close buddies can get split apart just like tad.. till today i still can't figure out y.. and now i even think that my friendship wif some of my poly frens may be numbered.. i just can't figure out.. isit my personality..?? my attitude?? or wad?! but thankfully.. i still hav a bunch of really really cool frens.. and i'm grateful for tad..

seems like the enthusiasm when i started blogging is almost fading again.. i dun find a need to blog.. and i dun find it necessary to blog nowadays.. just plainly becos i'm having a plain life.. just like plain water..

fypj started this wk.. and from 8.30am till 6pm.. we are supposed to be sitting in front of our coms and just do our projects.. initially i was bored to death.. although i like playing computer games for like.. one whole day.. but forcing me to play is bad.. y am i being forced to play?! becos i hav nth to do at all..!! so in order nt to bore to death.. i hav to play computer games!! of course since it's only the first wk.. so the project is actually not really formed yet.. as in we dun hav a direction on how this project will progress.. and so actually i shld take the chance to slack.. becos in a few wks' time.. things will "hopefully" start to get on the move..

actually today's a pretty gd day.. just research on com.. while playing as well.. drinking lots of water.. kip going to toilet.. kip refilling water.. and went around the sch to slack.. and the teacher decided to implement sort-of "PE" every tuesday.. so that we can be trained up for NAPFA.. and today was nt bad.. quite fun.. i kinda like it..

heyy.. after a long hiatus.. i'm back.. last few wks was one of my worst periods of time.. suddenly there were so many deadlines for projects and the stress level is very high.. i had a pretty cool new year's eve.. and that is.. to stay at home.. watch tv.. and play facebook.. seems that my life is pretty surrounding facebook rite now.. last time i find facebook boring.. too many applications.. but now i've found my fav applications.. and i can play them all day long..!

the first few wks of January was busy messing wif C# codings and stuff.. and boy it ain't easy at all.. this year is pretty shit for a new start.. our final few wks.. which usually involves tests and presentations and revision lectures and stuff.. is gonna be during the chinese new year period.. which is terrible..!! it means that i will hav to study throughout the cny period.. pathetic can! next sunday is cny eve le.. and a nice reunion dinner is awaiting me.. i can't wait..!! really hope this wk can pass by quickly..

Monday
bus-ed to Genting..!! had breakfast on the bus.. and reached in 7 hours' time.. checked in immediately.. and something new happened.. u hav to put in the card in a slot at lift den u can press the floor button.. cos they wan to prevent strangers from entering the hotel.. upon reaching.. we rested for a while.. while we tried the stuff in the hotel.. boiled water.. put impt things in the safe.. and watching tv.. LOL.. resting till 6.. had dinner at Genting Palace.. yumms!! walked around to enjoy the Christmas decorations.. and i forgot wad happened.. hmm.. we had supper at around 1-2am.. which is like pizza and chicken wings.. omg.. so seriously bad for the body.. had an early night..

Tuesday
had chicken chop for breakfast.. Mum had laksa.. which is wad she always wanted.. den we walked around.. and we went for a foot massage! wa.. nt pain u mean... itchy..!! scary 40mins experience for me.. bought Pizza Hut for lunch.. we had dinner at Imperial Rama.. i love this place!! so good tad we made a reservation for the next day..! den Mum took the chance to go to the casino.. while i took my laptop to Starbucks.. until 1+.. den we went to First World Plaza to c got any shops open anot.. surprisingly got alot of stores open.. there was a bar having live performances.. and they were singing some Beyond classics.. and many ppl were there singing along with them.. and rite now.. i'm pretty addicted to their song..! we had wanton noodles and Kenny Rogers' chicken for supper back at the hotel room..

Wednesday
had breakfast at Genting Palace.. cos i wan my dimsum!! LOH MAI GAI!! after tad... walked around everywhr.. exploring every part of Genting.. just nice there was a Mongolian fair there.. ohh.. and we saw Pan Ling Ling there wif her family too.. lol.. hmm.. we went to buy 4-D.. just nice Wed.. den there was a temple there.. so i prayed that we can win the 4-D.. which we din.. LOL.. had dinner at Imperial Rama.. had the pineapple fried rice tad i'm waiting for ages.. after tad we felt that we wun hav anything to rmb this trip.. soo.. we went everywhr with beautiful decor to take pics..!! we even enjoyed a very heart-warming christmas carol.. i hav the video of it too.. but i din upload it..

Thursday
typically our last day.. we will sleep till 12.. den check out.. and hav brunch.. but this time.. differently.. we woke up at around 10.. went for breakfast at Hou Mei.. which is the laksa store again.. cos the asam laksa there is just every nice.. after tad.. walked around for last-min shopping.. den went bak to ensure everything is kept.. b4 checking out.. and of course we are nt gonna walk around wif the luggage.. since our bus is at 2.. so we went to the luggage storage to kip our luggage.. den we went to walk again.. hey.. a nice garden behind Theme Park Hotel.. snap snap time.. den it's time to go home..!!

during this time.. i tink i had 4-5 trips at Coffee Bean and 3-4 trips at Starbucks.. nt gd.. nt gd at all for the body..!!

ok after this.. it's time to prepare for Christmas.. and New Year.. den Chinese New Year.. one festival after another... but nt forgetting the exams and project presentations too..!!

heyys.. a wk's summary..

Wed is my theory trial test.. and i hav 2 other tests to take on that day.. and i told the teacher of ITSM that i want to take the test earlier.. and so the whole class persuaded the teacher to take the test earlier.. and suay-ly.. i was the last person to access the Heucampus application.. after accessing around 4-5 computers.. finally i can use it.. SOOO ps!!

den finally finished the test liao.. rushed to ssdc.. met wif janelle.. did the theory trial lor.. nth much.. just understanding more of the knowledge abt driving.. after that.. we went to amk hub.. i finally persuaded dear janelle for my long-awaited present.. and it's just wad i wanted.. a backpack!! lol.. aniway i paid half of the price.. lol.. den we went to MOS burger to sit for a while.. guess who we saw..?? mr desmond chan.. and his gf/wife..?? i dunnoo.. aniway we dun really like his wife la.. cos in sch she super fierce de lor.. mr chan teach Physics.. his gf/wife teach Mother Tongue.. cos very fierce.. so everybody dun like her..

aniway.. today is a very happy day.. cos firstly.. i passed my BTT..!! so relieved.. den after badminton-ing.. went to ABAP tut.. the LAASSTT lesson of the semester..!! so happy so happy so happy.. haiz.. it will be even happier if i went to pool wif my clique.. but i gonna go work.. and i super dun like my work lor.. sianz.. and surprising.. today they had cereal prawns.. haha.. SUPER surprising sia..

first of all.. i'm so happy.. cos my phone is back!! so happy so happy so happy!!

and next.. haiz.. since the television appearance.. apparently.. my workplace suddenly had a huge boost of customers.. they dun hav enuff ppl to handle it.. so they called me bak to work again.. haiz.. these two days i've worked.. i've earned $60.. but it's nt easy earning it.. sooo many ppl.. from the typical 6 ppl we hav.. now we hav 9-10 ppl.. and we still cannot handle it..

this wk.. is pretty tough.. tmr will be a long day.. hav to settle project.. wed.. shit tests.. suddenly due to Hari Raya.. the ITSM test is changed to Wed.. which.. will collide wif my theory trial.. like.. wth?! hmm.. luckily tis is the last wk b4 holidays.. andd i must rmb to collect money for class jersey too..!! must rmb..!!

A QUICK SUMMARY!!

fri!!

after having lunch wif poly clique at Novena.. i went to Bugis to find geral, hui min and hui ping.. den we went to Pasir Ris together.. went to Cai Zhen's chalet.. after sitting down and watching tv while the girls went to try on the clothes they bought at Bugis Street.. den we started mahjong-ing.. walked to the bus stop to fetch pei ying.. after settling down for a while.. walked to e-hub for dinner.. while walking to e-hub.. met some old frens.. nt really close animore.. but coincidentally they were going to a fren's chalet..

after dinner.. went to the arcade for some fun.. the arcade is cool!! my type of arcade.. everything i like.. hmm let me think.. met cai zhen's frens at the arcade.. went bak to the chalet together.. den we started mahjonging again.. played cards.. heart attack.. den we watched tv.. the chinese version of Street Fighter.. niiicccee!! watched till 3.. some were tired.. went to slp.. some started mahjonging.. hui min, geral and I went to Macs instead.. at around 4.. i was abit surprised to c so many ppl there.. the both of them used the com.. i watched show on my psp.. watched till 6.. went bak chalet.. suprised to c so many ppl still awake.. washed up.. and had breakfast at Macs.. before going home.. geral went aunt hse to slp.. hui min went home due to gastric pain.. pei ying had some job related probs.. hui ping had church.. i went home to slp..

sat!!

after 3-4 hrs of slp.. i met hui ping and chen xia at Pasir Ris.. surprised hui ping nt tired despite nt sleeping.. went bak to Downeast chalet.. walked around e-hub.. watched cai zhen's family preparing the bbq.. geral came along.. started eating!! started playing dai dee.. which led to a 11-man heart attack match!! really really fun.. cos i nv played heart attack wif so many ppl b4.. den we sang bday song for bday girl.. took photos.. had bday cake.. den we went to ehub.. for some late nite activities.. but bowling was so expensive.. so we din really noe wad to do.. so went bak to watch tv.. after watching a while.. geral and I went Macs.. so socket available.. so she sms.. and daydream.. while i watch show on psp.. intended to watch 3am Madagascar.. and watch sunrise.. but i guess they are just too tired..

went bak to chalet at 3am.. found out everyone went to slp.. omg.. so wanting to slp too.. but no space for us.. sad.. so we went to e-hub.. and stayed at the bowling place.. to watch... cos too expensive.. watched till 5.. explored every inch of e-hub.. went to use the socket outside giordano.. she used the com.. while i slept on the steps.. around 7 i tink.. we went bak to the chalet.. i expected them to wake up alr lor.. but they still asleep.. haiz sian.. so geral called hui ping.. to get her bag and went to her aunt hse.. which is nearby.. so i'm left.. went into the chalet and continued my show.. after washing up.. bid farewell to cai zhen.. den had breakfast wif hui ping at kfc.. i watched back-and-forth e-hub and costa sands chalet so many times.. i am alr familarised with the roads there.. haha

met wif ying zi at expo for the SITEX fair.. sooo many ppl.. bought hard drive there.. saw tim hong and lixing too.. both of them working there.. den we went next "hall".. john little fair.. but din buy anitink.. wanting to eat something.. but so many ppl too.. and we split and went home.. on the way home.. it starting raining.. heavily.. at the Kallang station.. saw many ppl at the bus stop.. but strangely they were all waiting for cabs..

was soo tired tad i fell asleep on the sofa.. heard from mum that she pulled me up to get to bed.. and i dun remember anitink.. next few days.. veryy tired... fell sick too..

hmm.. wanted to wait for the chalet photos to be uploaded b4 writing my post.. so when i was alr ready to write my long awaited post.. i fell sick.. now i hav a triple-combination of fever, flu and sore throat.. i got to get well..!! b4 my holidays in another 1-2 wks.. and it's also very rare that i declined to hav a MC.. becos there's a test tmr..!! so i really hav to make it to sch..

i also find that.. today.. my body was very hot.. i was having a mild fever.. yet.. i feel so cold in the tutorial rooms.. which is strange too.. becos i seldom complain i'm cold.. i always say i'm "warm-blooded".. haha.. becos when others are complaining they're cold.. i'm the one emitting heat waves.. lol!!

now i will hav to wait until i hav the time and energy to type my long post abt the chalet.. haiz.. i guess i'm sick due to the fact that i din really had enuff sleep for two days.. so i'm exposed to all the illnesses..

hellos! was gonna blog these few days.. but was either busy or lazy.. ytd we had our first formal presentation for sem 2.. so excited.. yet nervous too.. and nw i'm here studying for a quiz later.. and i'm blogging.. WTF!!

okk.. last Sat.. me, Chicky and Duckie went to Queensway together to buy many things.. i bought 4 shirts.. and tad freaking hair gel.. it's a $2 difference between the store at Queensway and Watsons!! ARG!! i can buy a packet of chicken rice wif $2! well nevertheless.. it was a very enjoyable experience.. and den we over to Anchorpoint.. i din noe there was a shopping mall opposite Queensway Shopping Centre..!! it was VERY Christmasy.. we went there to hav lunch.. and also Chicky went to buy her formal..

ohh ya aniway.. we finally made our class tees!! or rather.. class jerseys!! but for now.. it's for our clique onli.. cos we're in a rush.. for.. Sat's Captain's Ball Competition..!! so after Sat.. we might order it for the whole class.. depending on whether they wan it or not.. well it's nt cheap.. freaking $32.. 16 packets of $2 chicken rice at stake.. but it's Adidas.. soo.. it's still pretty worth it..

ytd was our first formal presentation of sem 2 (like i said b4).. and we were friggin' nervous.. cos we hav to be VERY professional this time.. in a sense of presentation slides.. colour scheme.. attire.. hair.. posture.. gestures.. etc.. so many different criteria to fulfill.. however.. our presentation was very successful and of course every team member plays a part in making it so successful..

i'm having a tough test in around a few hours' time.. and i haven even finished studying..!! OOPS!!

i just hate it.. i hate this person for being so irresponsible.. the big bottle.. i filled it up wif water and den put it in the fridge so that i can hav iced water anytime i wan.. and this particular person always drinks from this bottle.. and when it's left wif less-than-half of the amount.. he just left it there.. and when i nid it.. i dun hav enough to fill a bottle..! den i hav to refill it.. and drink water at normal temp.. well.. it sounds nt tad bad.. but the prob is.. it happens all the time!! i'm sick of it.. if u drink it.. u shld refill it.. and nt just leave it there and wait for other ppl to fill it up for u.. and btw.. i'm younger than u.. alrite.. at least MAKE ppl RESPECT u!! for ice-cubes.. i always make it an effort to hav the ice-cube box full.. so at least we're prepared for any "impromptu-circumstances.." yet he always drinks.. he just gets the ice-cubes.. and so-be-it.. so i hav to refill it.. becos if i dun.. when i nid it.. i dun hav it! i dun hav a choice..!!

last sun we went bak to msia to celebrate my ah-ma's bday.. since we reached at around 5.. so we went to my aunty hse to hav rice dumpling(ba zang).. my ah-ma wrap de rice dumpling very nice..!! super shiok!! made me think of the times when i was younger.. my ah-ma and my mother would wrap many many rice dumplings together.. den we the children would be in charge of eating them.. yum-yum!!

recently Johor has a very nice mall.. Sutera Mall.. so we had dinner at a very nice restuarant.. den took a walk around the mall.. it's always good to buy things in msia.. since it's much more cheaper.. like daytona.. 2 tokens.. but 2 tokens = RM$1 = less than S$0.50.. it's even cheaper than sg!! all the games are around 2 tokens.. so it's all less than 50 cents.. wad a bargain!!

after an enjoyable dinner.. we went bak to aunty hse.. so that ah-ma can cut the blueberry cake we specially had for her.. HAPPY BIRTHDAY AH-MA!! and also wishing pamela (my sista) a very belated bday.. in taiwan!! yes.. she's in taiwan now.. and she gonna buy me stuff!! i do hope the kindaichi series can be found.. *praying hard* or else i gonna need around S$100 buckies to hav the collection..

it's been a while.. this morning was one of the memorable days i "try" to remember.. this morning while i was waiting for bus 135.. the bus came - full of people.. wow.. so everybody "chiong" to squeeze in the bus.. den me and my fren.. we were like.. "sian" so many ppl.. bag so heavy somemore.. den we saw another 135 from behind.. and so we were like.. y are there still ppl trying to squeeze into the first bus when there's another bus wif like 10++ ppl?? while maybe they too "kiasu" and "kan chiong" to get on the bus.. tad's y they din c an empty one behind..

and.. apparently there's a huge traffic jam.. fordunnowadreason.. think bishan got road accident.. den so i waited in the bus for pretty long time.. luckily got psp accompany me.. but i tink.. the other bus which is supersuperalotofppl.. the ppl there must be prettypoorthing.. cos there have to squeeze for a pretty long time lor.. poor thing..

Monday Deepavali was great.. no sch!! so von yz jrm and i went to amk for pool.. von even sponsored $20..!! thx von!! later.. my and HFHP took 130 to Balestier Road Shaw Plaza there for Sakura!! there were alot of food.. i pretty regretted it since i din get to taste every dish.. and only took a bowl of ice-cream!! but.. it was definitely worth the money.. i would like to go another time.. but after a few mths or so.. i'm getting sick of buffets..

i wanted to post Cyber Sunday results too!! but i'm so tired.. i'll do it next time.. bb!!

hooray.. first sunday that i din hav to work.. and my grandma and relatives came from msia to sg to visit us.. so i was thinking.. finally can relax and hav dinner wif them..

so i was really looking forward to dinner.. everytime my grandma comes.. they hav a regular place to hav dinner.. normally i can't go.. becos i'm working.. so tis time i'm so excited.. becos it's my first time.. for a very long while.. that i hav dinner wif them.. and in the end.. we had dinner downstairs.. i was depressed.. becos i felt not important enough.. well.. i was thinking.. a family having dinner together is alr a great thing to hav.. so y am i complaining..?!

hmm.. coincidence.. they always hav dinner at this particular place.. which they gave rave reviews.. and i only tried their food once.. at home.. so this time wif me around.. they had dinner downstairs.. i can't help to think negatively.. well can't help it.. we had dinner downstairs also becos my mum was working.. so it will also be easier for her to join us..

BUT I'M STILL SAD.. becos i felt not important enough.. i guess even some of my family members forgot my bday.. well.. tis yr i having my 18th bday.. and wif 3 days to go... i forecast a pretty gloomy bday to hav..

well... it's been five months.. of wkends.. and today.. it's my last day of work.. and i cried!!

ok.. not those regular.. "ohh.. i will miss u all.. and tears flow down my cheek" kind of thingy.. whereas.. i cried as i burned my hand.. yea.. nice to burn my hand on the last day of work..

looks like my workplace wan to giv me something to remember.. since today has been pretty hazardous.. i injured my right wrist.. and i burned my left hand.. or rather fingers.. the thumb and the index.. i shld consider myself lucky.. since i burned my left.. nt my right.. or else i can't write.. i couldn't even eat properly.. well.. it hurts.. freaking hurts like hell..

and ppl around me were saying like.. "y so stupid to burn hand?".. well cos.. the "thing" that i touched.. tad particular part of the "thing" isn't supposed to be HOT.. and so i touched it.. and i burned myself.. great!! well.. the burn gave me an hour off earlier.. so.. it was "sort-of" a blessing in disguise.. but of course i'm not enjoying it.. the pain is killing me..

so to think.. today was a very "blur" day for me.. since i woke up at 4pm.. and went to work at 6pm.. so.. my mind could still be "hibernating".. well.. so i'm not working animore.. i can put all my heart into sch now.. and i'm prepared for all the projects coming my way.. just as long as it's easy to handle.. which is pretty impossible.. ok.. tad's all.. bye x2

yup.. back to sch agn.. projects.. lectures.. practicals.. but u noe wad..? i'm not hating it.. at all.. i'm actually happy that sch is starting soon.. i hope i enjoy this sem.. nt too much drama hopefully.. and time passes by so quickly.. it's gonna be Christmas soon.. and den New Year's Day.. i can still remember vividly wad i did last New Year's eve.. and so.. tis yr seems to pass by so quickly.. i wun complain however.. since.. tis is nt a gd yr for horses.. den after New Year.. it's Chinese New Year.. i LOVE CNY.. it's a great occasion for families.. relatives and friends.. to gather and chit-chat.. lol.. becos CNY is like the other time i go bak to visit my relatives on my father's side.. once a yr.. to c how they've changed.. and also to let them c how we've changed.. around 3 more mths to go.. and seriously.. it's nt long..

Oct 14 is my dearie mummy's bday!! well.. on Fri.. i treated her to lunch.. as like a bday present.. given my current capability.. able to treat my mum to a meal.. i tink.. i'm proud of myself.. and btw.. the meal costs $53..

so.. from wad i heard.. since i only work wkends.. i may be.. sort-of.. suspended for the time-being.. and the reason is.. too many workers.. so they say they may nid me agn maybe around Nov.. which is when a colleague of mine.. her contract of 6 mths is gonna end.. and she has to go bak to the Phillipines.. tad's when i tink i may hav the job bak.. well.. if i'm not gonna continue working from next wk onwards.. well.. pros and cons.. i'm glad.. since it's gonna be near a very special date.. which is a great person's bday.. and so.. i could use the wkends to celebrate this wonderful person's bday.. but of course.. the negative part is.. i wun hav extra pocket money for the month.. which is a little bit sad though.. so hopefully around Nov.. i'll get my job bak.. or else.. i'll c how things go.. BUT.. saying abt this so much.. if this is just a rumour.. and i continue working next wk.. woo.. i'll hav to re-think abit.. like.. requesting for leave.. since i'm gonna celebrate a wonderful person's bday..

well.. bak to my mum's celebration part.. actually my sis and I planned to hav dinner wif her on Fri.. well.. my aunt called in the afternoon.. to hav dinner wif us.. so I decided to hav lunch wif her.. and the whole family can hav dinner together.. that night was nt going really well as planned.. something just made me SO angry.. that i actually quarrelled wif my mum.. well it's not like those dramatic fight.. but.. it was back-and-forth.. but i couldn't hold it back.. well.. i dun wanna talk abt this.. becos i dun wan a particular person to c it and become a blabber mouth.. den our family can start a drama abt quarrelling.. but the night came off still ok.. but i still pretty moody.. it was just a turn-off.. wad a perfect plan turned into a near tragedy..

we actually thought of dinner at Kuishinbo.. but it was packed.. like.. the queue line outside.. was very long.. so we changed and went to dinner at Shin Kushiya.. a Japanese restuarant which specialises in Kushiyaki.. i hoped i got it rite.. which is charcoal-grilled food.. yea.. the 6 of us.. 5 women/girls.. and me wholesome guy.. ordered a total of 15 main courses/side dishes combined.. which was alot.. my stomach was practically requesting to burst out.. the bill came around $200+.. which we expected more.. but tis also proves that the pricing is reasonable..

we went to the branch at Suntec.. originally i wanted to bring my mum to the branch at Vivo.. but online reviews stated the restaurant service is pretty bad.. so I changed my mind abt it.. but the service at Suntec is excellent.. they were perfect.. Shin Kushiya is definitely a future choice for me to hav my meals.. when i hav money..

i was still so happy going to work today.. and after afternoon shift having not many ppl.. i was still thinking.. woo.. cool.. no ppl.. and at night shift.. so many ppl!!! and besides that.. the chef couldn't handle that much.. he's nt efficient.. as this is nt first time as well.. then many ppl.. no food.. all the guests start to complain.. so working under these circumstances can be pretty stressful.. i was ready to set today as one of my worse days working..

den when clearing up.. i actually BROKE another damn thing agn.. this time it was a sauce boat.. waa.. luckily some customers nia.. but.. they kip looking sia.. walaus.. damn ps.. waa.. den if it wasn't enuff.. mum cut her finger while getting the broken pieces.. walaus.. so guilty sia.. sad.. no mood at all.. whole night no mood at all.. i kip showing my "black face"..

haiz.. now veri sians to work tmr la.. but.. for the sake of money.. i will strive hard lor.. but of course if the kitchen is willing to cooperate la.. cos the grp of us outside are very efficient.. we hav 6 ppl outside to handle the crowd.. and only 3 ppl in the kitchen.. how they tahan..!? and is 1 chef.. 1 washer.. 1 cutter.. nt enuff for Saturdays de lor.. den kip feedback to boss.. he also very jialat one.. no point toking to him de.. nv do anything de..!! every Saturday is ALWAYS like tad!! many ppl.. no food..

Clock Chimes midnight~ daniel leap up in his chair, startled.

Daniel froze his chest hurts by the sudden increase rate the heart is racing.

Daniel swiched off ths light and ran to his bed snuggled under the covers only light in the room was from the window-the moon shining on to him.

It sounds as though something hard was hitting on to the ground downstairs.

He kept really really quiet...breathing hard.

then he heard the voice that he was sure he was dreaming a nightmare yet he's awake for it said :

"(in chinese) Zao Bu Dao~~~~**cries **sobs"
[it means 'cannot find']

He shivers and then he remembered Chris's words.

"Zao Bu Dao~~~~~~"

He hurries out of bed and his eyes frantically scanned thru the room for a hiding spot. Then his mind said to him, Under the bed.

'THUD THUD THUD'
The sounds were moving up the staircase.

He went down his knees.He squeezed himself under fast and hard not caring that the bed is very low and he's not so small.

"Zao Bu Dao~~~~" 'THUD THUD THUD' the sounds reached 2nd floor outside his room door.

He made it under the bed. He force himself to turn over to face out to be able to see the room instead of the inside wall then regretted it thus closing his eyes at once praying fast.

his other room's door creaks slowly..

the voice of Cindy sounded miserable.

His toilet door creaks open.

Daniel shivered badly...eyes still shut....

silent for so long. so long. Daniel opened his eyes.

he screamed. he died.

It seems that the young boy was found frightened to death for his eyes were wide opened his mouth were wide open and his body was cold and purple...and there was nothing wrong with the boy, it's a unnatural death and the police is now...'

Chris stares at the tv... his grandparents told him on the phone when he told them about his friend's unusual death that his advice would have worked....if only he knew how the deceased died.

chalet thoughts!!

bak from chalet ytd!! slept from 6pm till 7am this morning.. it was denitely enjoying.. and still.. definitely room for improvement.. if onli we had more time to organize.. and also more class effort.. it will definitely much more fun.. really thanks to those who participated.. and those who did not.. hopefully try to join class events next time.. although it will be a long long time b4 we hav ani..

Aloha Changi was fabulous.. beautiful beautiful place.. just as described on the website.. "Aloha Changi is a haven for those who desire a break from the hectic urban drone of city life.".. the place was great.. veri relaxing.. a 30-40 minutes bus journey from Tampines.. we reach Aloha Changi.. and right opposite us.. the old Changi Hospital.. yes it does gives us the creeps.. the chalet was ok.. looks quite old.. the yacht club chalet comes wif 4 bedrooms.. 4 toilets.. 2 containing toilet bowls.. 2 containing showers.. there was even a balcony..!!

Tuesday
our bbq night!! our delivery man came around close to 5.. the uncle was veri friendly.. he even treated us to drinks.. our food were all ready for bbq-ing.. so the eating fun begins..!! chicken wings.. sausages.. crabsticks.. marshmellows.. prawns.. stingrays.. otah(s).. and many ppl came and came.. from Xin Yi, Chai Ling, Sieh Lee.. to Fiqah and Farhana.. to Raymond and Benito.. to Lixing.. we enjoy eating and meanwhile also exploring the chalet.. and the late night of Aloha Changi.. one thing that we noticed.. there were SOO many cats..!!

and so we showered.. and some were downstairs playing mahjong.. and some went upstairs whr it is air-conditioned.. veri comfortable.. and we started monopoly-ing.. we had abt 8 players.. and playing for around 2-3 hours.. it gets kinda bored.. cos there were nt much of an impact.. becos the properties were all veri separated.. btw I tried to learn Malay! lol.. my hometown language u noe.. and somemore i learning numbers nia.. some went to slp..

Wednesday
some decided to stay downstairs to chat.. around 3++.. we started mahjong-ing agn.. i din play.. i merely stayed around and looked.. we actually wanted to stay for the sunrise.. (nt sunset.. yt!!) however got sian abt it.. so we din go out.. instead.. yt yz jrm and me decided to walk to Changi Village for breakfast at 6.. crazy seh.. nt many stores opened yet.. so the choices were rather limited.. however i was very unhappy abt the trip.. becos the damn black cat there kip chasing me.. i'm not superstitious.. but.. i dunno wad the cat gonna do to me..

the morning air was refreshing.. really nice weather too.. went bak and while some slept.. i decided to endure till everybody wakes up.. since it's alr 7++.. however.. i cannot tahan.. so i went to slp at around 8.. woke up at around 11.. by a Maxis msg.. woo-hoo.. we received msgs from Malaysia line.. lol.. aniway freshened up and went down.. whr the others were mahjong-ing agn.. some left.. and so the rest of us.. went to Subway at Changi Village for lunch.. after tad.. intended to bus to Downtown East for pool.. but when we reached Tampines Mall.. we decided to stay there and walked around.. bought dinner.. and some snacks, books, drinks, neccessities..

went bak and played mahjong agn!! wow wad a crazy grp we had.. tis time round we tried conversation in hokkien.. i wasn't good.. and actually it was a very funny conversation that we had.. started packing up.. showered and went to bedroom whr we discussed abt the finance issue.. becos our budget was pretty tight.. we even had to borrow money in order to pay for our food.. so now we nid to noe who we nid to get money from.. and who we nid to return money to.. after tad the guys decided to play wrestling.. hey.. of course i love it.. first time was pretty rough.. nt tad kind u c on tv.. however.. wad u c on tv is staged aniway.. so we decided to cr8 a storyline.. whr our moves are all rehearsed.. it was fun.. i was pinned after a Pedigree.. lol.. and i realised.. it's tiring too.. u nid to perform the moves.. rmb the moves.. rmb the motion.. it's tough.. it's good exercise too..

since previously night some din slp.. we decided to just rest and hav some slp tonite.. however i was still strong.. so i struggled till 2am.. till i slp..

Thursday
woke up at around 8.. din slp much at all.. shoulders hurting me.. my mum would hav told me it was a case of internal heating.. and in my case.. i decided to take a photo.. becos in the movie "Shutter".. the last part the male lead complained abt his aching shoulders.. and when he took a photo of himself.. he saw a "ahem" on his shoulder.. i did hope it wasn't this way.. since i din wan to die.. and it wasn't.. OF COURSE it wouldn't..

i was exhausted.. 2 days slept only like 8 hours..? maybe less than that... so early morning.. tired.. veri tired.. watching tv.. and yawning.. while waiting for the Aloha officer to come and check the chalet.. everytime was fine.. and after double-checking everything.. we set home.. we all looked tired.. on the bus.. on the train.. i finally left at the Kallang Station.. went to get myself Old Chang Kee.. and a bubble tea.. bused home.. and although i was still tired.. i wanted to go out wif mum.. since she was going to the temple.. and i felt like i shld go too.. went to UOB to cr8 an account.. got my veri own UOB card.. went to temple to giv my blessings.. went to hav Katong Laksa... at Waterloo Street..!! lol.. it's oppo OG.. veri nice.. but kinda expensive.. went to Bugis to eat agn.. Pastamania.. i like.. ^_^..

went home.. tired like shit... intending to nap a while.. when i wake up.. dark dark de.. 7am liao.. shit..!! but overall.. it was still fun.. i look forward to any other event our class is gonna hold.. DBT0701 rocks..!!

HAPPY NATIONAL DAY!! went to Sentosa wif sis and cousins.. went to play water and.. suntan!! hmm.. i tink i din get a sunburn.. although my skin colour makes ppl tink that i did.. but it doesn't hurt when i touch my skin.. we went to Palawan Beach for abt 3 hours.. and it was pretty crowded.. we took the monorail there.. and there was alot of ppl..

we went bak to Vivo at around 2.. went to FoodRepublic.. crowded too.. and like.. their food really veri expensive lor.. we bought 2 plates of Hokkien Prawn Mee.. i heard $5.60.. so i thought.. hmm.. reasonable.. and actual price was $9.60..!! $4.80 for one plate!! omg.. and Fried Carrot Cake for $4.. food courts nowadays are getting more and more ridiculous.. Vivocity was FULL of ppl.. we din stay long there.. as i nid to work too.. haiz.. especially since it's National Day sia..!!

hmm.. slept till 3pm todae.. i din have much slp this wk.. din slp on Thur nite.. slp for around 8 hours for Fri nite.. so.. it's time to slack in.. relatives from Malaysia came.. met wif them for around 3 hours.. den nid to go work agn..

i'm really getting frustrated wif my workplace.. we have like 2 different grps.. the ppl outside.. the waiters/waitresses.. and the ppl inside.. the kitchen staff.. and like.. obviously their position is alr lower than us.. because they onli work in the kitchen (no offense).. and like.. there's this woman.. whom i thought was very nice.. and like.. whenever we get busy.. she gets so frustrated and start kb-ing.. and todae was no different.. todae was a really busy night.. 1 grp of 60 ppl.. another inpromptu grp of 30++ ppl.. and another tour grp from Vietnam.. around 20 ppl.. totally packed wif ppl.. and todae was even more ppl.. than Mother's Day or Father's Day the other time.. becos.. this time.. we dun even have enough chairs.. we nided to get extra chairs from the VIP room..

and like.. we were alr so busy wif all the buffet food and all those.. the kitchen was denitely short-handed.. and they even nid to handle the ala-carte.. so they were really busy too.. and.. i'm also 17+++.. i may hav worked for 3 mths alr.. but onli 8 days from every month.. so.. actually.. i haven even worked for one full month yet..! and.. there was some kind of misunderstanding or sort-of.. a colleague was scolded by her.. said she had no brains.. and my mum directly shooted bak at her.. "hey.. she's ur senior.. and it's onli a VERI SMALL mistake.. u dun have to scold her having no brains.. tad's veri disrepectful.. and she is even more well-educated than u.."

and guess wad the woman said.. "i din mean tad.. i meant Brian (me).." and my mum got even more flared up.. and it was becos of a misunderstanding..

it was like this.. firstly.. i took the empty tray in.. thinking they were gonna change dishes.. but they din.. so the chef told me.. next time no nid do tad.. and then.. abt an hour later.. they change tray.. so i took the "already" empty tray in.. and so the woman was abit confused la.. she thought i did the same mistake agn.. so when she asked my colleague to take a new tray of food out.. my colleague refused.. becos she knew there's was alr a tray outside..

so that woman scold my colleague lor.. and when my mum shoot her.. she said she meant Brian's mistake abt the tray.. i was pissed off.. and that's woman my senior.. so i respect my senior (of course).. so i will not raise my voice at them.. (definitely..) so my mum told me.. if they bully me agn.. just tell her.. cos.. my mum dares to voice out her comments.. and.. she is very fierce too.. just try to make her angry.. she'll make ur life miserable.. lol

for the whole 4 hours.. the only thing i'm thinking abt.. is to go home.. haiz.. aniway.. tmr is Jade's last day of work.. on Wed.. it will be her last day in Singapore.. she'll be going bak to the Phillipines.. i'll miss ya girl!

monday's presentation was.. IMO.. a huge success.. and i was so relieved that it's finally done.. and i dun hav to care wif it anymore.. this week has been very "easy-going"..

we had a celebration for the July/August babies on Thur.. Yingzi, Yvonne, Fiqah and Chai Ling.. we prepared for 6 ppl.. but.. Canti and Ms Cher din make it.. aniway.. it was a great celebration.. involves alot of "cake-smashing".. i din get the photos.. perhaps next time.. and we also decided to hold our class chalet on 12-14 Aug.. during our study break.. imagine!! just days b4 our exams.. and we decided to hold a chalet.. to relax our mind, body and soul.. and that we can hav 100% concentration to study.. hmm.. it's gonna be held at Aloha Changi.. exact location i nt sure.. i tink near Yacht Club.. well.. very looking forward to it indeed..!!

next wk will be filled wif JAVA!!! Tues Java Project Presentation.. Fri Java test.. haiz.. luckily next wk is wk 17.. means.. it's considered the last wk for sem 1..!! Wed.. gonna watch Mummy 3.. heard from mum that it wasn't nice.. but nvm.. go c.. maybe is her expectation too high.. then Wed is also Veron's birthday!! Fri is Olympics Opening Ceremony.. wa.. i hate life todae.. i hate almost everything.. well.. this morning.. went to PS.. to escort my cousin to SMU - School of Law.. since she's such a map noob.. ok HFHP.. u seriously.. cannot read maps!!!

den afternoon.. open my bottle of vodka.. it shouldn't be tad strong.. but i felt uneasy..

go work.. sibei suay ar!! wasn't in the mood to work.. my mind was somewhr else.. i just couldn't concentrate.. entrepreneurship de project is torturing me.. i just wanted to make it perfect.. becos it is like.. 40% of the module score.. and scoring well for this.. = confirm pass de standard.. so i could actually feel the pressure..

i wasn't concentrating.. and broke a bowl.. the sound was.. FREAKING LOUD SIA..!!! WTH.. den like.. i was veri blurrish.. i nearly dropped my phone.. i barely saved it.. i banged into many things.. i dropped utensils.. but the worse part is.. i've done it so many times.. yet i failed todae.. i used a huge pot to get porridge.. it was heavy.. but cos i've done it so many times liao.. so i hav confidence.. but the pot just.. unbalance.. and spill on the whole trolley!! shit sia..!! i was there.. just wanting to giv up.. becos i cannot believe how unlucky i can get.. in onli 4 hours.. i warn myself to kip my pants and shoes clean.. yet.. in the end.. still got dirty..

so for the rest of the time.. i was doing minor chores onli.. just to prevent myself from ani injuries again..

now hav to handle wif entre project.. once it's settled.. i will heave a HUGE sigh of relief.. and i can go home and slp for 2 days 2 nights liao.. lol.. hopefully nt many negative comments will be given.. and that.. Q&A will be easy to pass by.. ^ ^ lady luck.. pls look after me bahs..!!

i was sleeping on the bed for at least an hour.. and i can't really differentiate between 7.30 and 8.30.. and soon i realise i was.. LATE.. ok.. so i decided to cab to sch.. well.. it seems like a long time since i've cabbed to sch.. abt a yr.. and how a yr have changed..

the last time i went to sch.. the trip was abt $9++.. and i thought it was expensive.. but todae?? $13++.. wow.. wad a change..!!! (written by Li Xing) i was like so shocked when i saw the price and it had exceeded my typical student allowance today...wahahahaha....well, just had to get on with it since i've already spent the money.

now i'm having my BIA lesson but well, the program has some errors and the lecturer is trying to solve it. Hence, we can slack now. muahahaha...today, there's NO BPMS!!we got longer break but the class attendance is getting lower and lower since the debarment period is over. today's a long day for our group, lessons till 6 and we will be going to PHAT NITE V which Raymond is in charge, so we have to support him! wahahahah...

ytd was one of the nights i felt as though it was my first day working there.. i felt like a noob.. and that.. IMO everything just doesn't go rite.. everything just doesn't go my way.. and also i also felt that everybody was just a little unfriendly.. different ppl c different things.. i c it this way.. they may c it that way.. it was really busy ytd.. packed wif many ppl.. trying to do the best i could.. but sometimes other ppl may not c it that way..

our working place is just like a warfield.. everyday u could hear SO many things passing through ur ears.. cos.. our working place is full of aunties around our area.. and u noe aunties.. gossip.. rumours.. they just pass around information without exact evidence.. and wif each passing on.. the rumour becomes worse and worse..

for example.. last time i was editing my duty attendance when my supervisor told me to write it in pencil.. not in pen next time.. just to be more easier.. and a particular auntie overheard it.. and wad has it changed to? supervisor scolding me for some particular reason.. styling hair and looking at the mirror during work times.. they say.. customer complain very unhygenic.. cos hair have MANY germs.. like wad crap.. if got customer complain.. supervisor will definitely say wan ma.. nid them to tell..

some aunties can be really good to u.. and on the other hand.. talk bad abt u.. a particular auntie.. always say to ur face.. wa u so gd.. so hardworking.. behind u.. tell other ppl.. so lazy.. kip pinching food.. and chatting during work times.. so tad's y.. some ppl's personalities can be so hideous..

and for happi stuff.. i tried room service todae.. some young girls from China ordered ice lemon tea.. so my supervisor thought.. i shld try it.. since they may prefer male waiters serving them drinks.. so i went up wif Chennie.. who is more experienced.. and i knocked on the door.. and said.. ROOM SERVICE!! a girl from China opened the door.. and immediately said.. NO BOYS ALLOWED!! luckily.. Chennie was wif me.. or else.. *horrible thoughts*..!! lol

he has lived through half of a 100!! it's a great achievement..!! well.. so we went to the newly renovated Big Splash @ East Coast.. went to "The Seafood International Market Restuarant".. it was a great place.. where we get to pick and choose our live seafood ourselves.. we also chose wad veggies we wanted.. it was a great dinner.. and after tad we went for a scroll and check out the surroundings.. there was a Kenny Rogers which was 24 hours..!!

HAPPY 7 July!! 7-7.. isit some kind of special event?!?

aniway.. now i can finally differentiate between Saturdays and Sundays..

at my workplace.. Saturdays are full of ppl.. while Sundays.. no ppl at all.. tis happened just ytd and the day b4..

Saturday.. there were 4 tours arriving for dinner.. and also many locals came to have dinner too.. since the chef is a new guy.. is inexperienced.. we were handling two different matters at the same time.. no food.. and many ppl waiting for food.. many ppl complained.. cos it's rare to c at a buffet dinner.. practically empty.. no food at all!! and b4 the disaster.. we warned the chef.. but he told us to take things slowly.. c la.. make us so busy.. so we had to call the head chef down to help.. but when he reached and helped to make the trays full of food.. it was alr 9.. and ppl were all starting to leave.. and i guess they wun come agn.. with our kind of service.. when it was finally over, all of us were so tired!!

Sunday.. 2 tours.. was expecting alot of ppl to come.. however.. not many ppl came.. very easy job.. yet also veri boring.. so i was walking everywhr.. and looking at the food.. hoping to eat.. cos i was so hungry den! we were even playing somemore.. by 9.. no ppl alr.. sian la..!

so now i realised.. my ideal night.. would be.. in between Saturday and Sunday.. got ppl.. food is always full.. so.. it would be more time-fulfilling as well la.. more fun.. not so boring..

hmm.. applied for leave next Sat.. apparently.. Geral wanted a gathering on Sat.. but i got to work.. but i sacrifice $24.. cos sec sch fren.. rare gathering ma.. u c Geral.. my sacrifice is so big!! betta make the gathering a success!!

aniway today when going home.. saw the MRT towards Marina Bay alot of ppl.. den Tim Hong told me cos todae last Friday of June ma.. so alot of ppl go Orchard late nite shopping.. bought stuff at supermarket.. den went home to cook caborana pasta.. as well as scrambled eggs wif minced eggs.. seriously nt bad for the first try..!!

todae dear yz couldn't be wif us.. since she's in our neighbouring country Malaysia.. so in the morning I went to buy champagne and celebrated wif the others.. (lol.. just joking.. dun kill me..).. aniway she was online just now onli.. and like.. internet there cost like 0.38/min.. omg.. tad's like abt $20++ per hour..!! i tink is in RM la.. but still nt worth lor.. eat money wan.. well.. aniway.. she touched sea turtle todae!! and shark too!! and they all below her only..

i'm really glad i learned html.. so that i can edit my blog's html.. and after a very long time.. i finally got wad i wanted.. like... removing all the unnecessary hearts.. and finally i can say.. i'm very satisfied wif the new skin..!!!

ytd morning.. went to watch The Incredible Hulk.. and although i nv watched the Hulk from 2003.. but i think this movie definitely will be better than that.. very action-packed.. and thrilling action.. the effects were made pretty well too..

todae.. Geral came to NYP.. so me, Chen Xia, and her fren, Shu Qing i tink.. went to play host and brought her around.. we went to the Staff Admission Office at Blk A.. i tink it was perhaps the first time students went in.. they were doing something confidental.. so I wun say much.. but it was a nice atmosphere.. lol.. den we went to Blk G when i found out abt the Amphitheater there.. it was nice.. except.. veri hot.. so we took a few pics there.. and they stayed for Voice Out.. while i rushed to AMK Hub to meet mum.. we went to watch You Don't Mess with the Zohan.. i believe people have mixed reviews abt this movie.. some.. like me.. felt that.. it was a relaxing movie for people to just enjoy and destress.. while some may tink it's insultive.. to women.. to some Middle East countries.. and the storyline is crap.. but.. i tink that the whole objective of the movie is for comedic purposes.. and i dun really care wad the storyline is.. i just wanna laugh.. tad's all..

hmmm.. school's starting.. next wk.. and now my 2 days left to enjoy my holidays.. i have to work.. *...boring...*

letter just came.. abt my school fees.. due July 9.. which is abt 20 days more..? aniway.. it's abt like $1k++.. which is quite a big subject for my parents.. after paying tis term which is until Oct onli.. next yr hav to pay another $1k++ agn.. polys are seriously forcing families to commit suicide.. although the actual school fees is abt like $8k+ and like they waived off the tuition fees.. but seriously i think a school term of abt 6 mths.. $1k++ is abit too high..

the fees are only considered.. like using the school facilities.. the exams.. and the lecturers whom are paid to teach us.. and like.. are those lecturers really worth the money?? i seriously dun think so.. just look at LEEFY.. she's one of the reasons i'm not willing to pay $1k++ for lessons taught by her..

i dun wish to complain much.. but having my parents stressing abt the school fees.. really made me wonder.. i'm now studying in poly.. and they hav to stress abt the school fees.. imagine if my older sister was in poly as well... i may not even hav the chance to study regularly.. as we even hav to get a tuition loan.. and IF i hav the chance to study in university.. i tink i can just forget abt it.. cos the school fees.. and other mis. fees.. are enough to kill us..

so rem.. next time.. no finance foundation.. dun hav children!!

i'm trying to enjoy life.. and really.. i am alr very fortunate.. compared to millions in other countries..

todae was another round of sakae buffet time..!! tis time i brought my mum to try it out.. although she's not a big eater.. well.. last time my frens and I went for the buffet.. 6 of us.. we had abt $130++ on the interactive menu.. meaning not counting the plates we took from the conveyor belt.. well.. $130 is alot.. and tis time.. i try to order more.. in order to make tis meal worthwhile.. well.. 2 of us... ordered till $50.. practically i was near to vomiting.. we went in at 3pm.. we went out at..4-4.30pm.. well.. we ate.. or rather.. I ate alot.. and it was not a good feeling..

well going for sakae buffets are great.. but nt too many within a month..

ytd was a busy day.. becos most families celebrated Father's Day ytd.. so it was packed wif people.. and that it was just chaotic.. one of the busiest sessions i have ever done..

todae.. i had to work afternoon shift.. becos a grp of 200 people came for a "Family Day" or something.. and the MP for Marine Parade came.. i tink she's called Dr. Fatima.. aniway luckily it wasn't as busy as ytd.. it was quite peaceful.. becos we were prepared.. wif a 10-man/woman crew ready for battle.. and night shift was easy too.. which was surprising.. since it's Father's Day.. and not many people..

it's tiring..~~ but for money.. i try to survive.. ^^

HAPPY FRIDAY THE 13th!!!

i actually forgot abt the event.. and i just rmb-ed.. aniway.. luckily i din really hav much bad luck todae.. as compared to the last Friday 13th.. so i consider myself pretty lucky.. hehe.. :P

ok.. sori to say.. i forgot when tis event happened.. i rmb-ed the moments.. the calling Nikita event.. yet i forgot the date.. maybe i'll just check bak on my previous posts.. we were at Esplanade.. and erm.. seriously speaking.. the pillars outside Esplanade.. are really warm and comfortable.. really worth a try!! well.. pictures are all taken from Jye Yin's blog..
